There is a real crisis in our community. A silent crisis no one talks about. Behind closed doors a lonely elder with and empty fridge, an elder being abused by a family member or partner that feel they are a burden, an elder who thinks they can still make in on their own but due to mental illness the weeks are actual years, the days are slept away, their minds are slowing down, memories, cognitive and physical abilities have faded. They need help and don’t know where to turn. The Lehua Foundation will find them. Our mission is finding the Elders in need.
